Lecture 8539. How to Maintain a Good Relationship Without Misunderstanding
Question: I wonder how we can maintain a good relationship without misunderstanding.
You can maintain a good relationship only when you know your counterpart.
You can’t get along well with your partner if you don’t know about them.
You also need to learn why we are meant to live with others.
When you meet someone, you are given an opportunity to live for mutual benefit.
Then you first have to consider the power dynamic between them and you in order to get along well with them.
Relationship between person with more power and less power.
There are always power dynamics in any environment of this society.
How should you live if you are a person who has more power than others?
If you have more power, then you should live for people who have less power than you. That is the righteous way of living.
How should you live if you are the underdog?
You should live your life by receiving energy by listening well to the advice of person with higher energy.
You can have a good relationship if you remember this principle.
You never meet a counterpart who is equal to you in every aspect.
There is always a relationship between A and B, where one has more power than the oth
If you are at work, you have superiors and subordinates.
You meet various people in a society whose social conditions are not the same as you, which will place you in a superior or subordinate position.
This relationship between A and B can change at any time, depending on the situation.
It is important to discern this well, so that if you are the weaker one, then you need to absorb the energy of the stronger person to grow.
And you should not be arrogant toward someone who is superior.
You grow by receiving the energy of the person who has more capability than you.
That is why Grand Nature sends you these people for your growth.
If you meet a person who has less power than you, then you should help them.
What happens if you support the underdog properly?
Heaven gives you ten times the amount of energy that you help the underdog.
This is a truly amazing Law of Nature.
I’d take up on this offer every chance I get.
Grand Nature will provide you with ten times the power if you surely benefited the less powerful person.
If you, as the underdog, listen to the stronger person and grow by receiving their energy, you can improve yourself tenfold.
Grand Nature will take away the power from you if you, as the more powerful person, don’t help the weaker person, ignore them, and manage them wrong.
God first gives you economic power, skills, or environment, and then gives you relationships.
God gave you the power to use it correctly, but if you don't use it properly and operate it incorrectly, then God will take it away from you.
There is a definite power dynamic between children and parents.
The parent is the strong one, and the child is the weaker one.
Until a certain point,
Parents should live for their children, and they should not benefit from their children.
You should not think of prospering from your children.
This is the principle of the relationship between the strong and the weak.
Therefore, children must not rebel against their parents.
They should grow up by graciously receiving what their parents give to them.
Going against your parents and thinking that you’re smart,
Being smart never makes you the powerful one.
Imagining that you’re smart will ruin your life.
If you’re truly smart, then you would never rebel against your parents.
So, you grow greatly by receiving a lot of power from your stronger counterpart.
That is the life of a wise person.
If you want to be good at dealing with others, you need to figure out quickly which position you hold.
Depending on your position, if you don’t cross the line, then you can get along well with them.
Then both of you can mutually benefit each other, and you can grow quickly while maintaining the relationship that helps you.
